Project Advisory

Project Advisory Services assist a client during the definition, approval, and close-out phases of a project. These can include any or all of the following types of services:

Strategy Development

We assist clients to develop project strategy that is aligned with the overall business strategy and the context and environment within which the project is to be planned and executed. This includes engineering development, contracting and overall project control strategy.

Investigations

We conduct impartial investigations into the cause of problems and issues. The study and report would typically describe the problem, the mechanism that caused the problem, issue or failure, as well as a list of options for remedial action, including estimated costs for implementation.

Concept, Feasibility and Definition

We conduct overall project and scope of work concept, feasibility and definition surveys and studies. These studies investigate and discuss the relative options and associated risk profile of a project and include outline scope of work, resources and order of magnitudes in terms of cost and time to complete.

Due Diligence

We assist clients such as investors, lenders and companies involved in merger and acquisition in assessing the status and value of projects. Ascertaining and verifying progress and expenditure, anticipating impacts and estimating what it might take to complete the project.

Dispute Resolution

We have consulting and testimonial experience in assisting clients resolve disputes over projects, whether the project is complete or is still underway. We can audit how the project has proceeded, can utilise our tools to recreate how the project should have proceeded, and can offer general practical advice as to the technical issues that remain for resolution.
