Èpeus has established a corporate base in Singapore in 2005 to create a new operational hub in the South East Asia region. The D534 is currently undergoing a major Life Enhancement and Èpeus provided self motivated Construction Supervisors in the Piping and Structural Disciplines, to provide the Shipyard and their sub contractors with "on the job" assistance in controlling, managing, preparing and executing works on nightshift. The D534 is a self-propelled Dynamically Positioned drillship capable of operating in moderate environments and water depths up to 7,000 feet using an 18¾in 10,000 psi BOP stack and 21in OD marine drilling riser.
